WOW! I can't believe how much time has gone by since my last post! I guess it really is true what they say about spending time in FaeryLand. Their time goes by much slower while our lives are speeding along. I do apologize for my absenteeism. I promise not to be away as long! But I do come with some very fun news! After many many many false starts for our Faerie Festival, we are finally happy to announce our very first ever community Faery Fest Trade Circle & Potluck happening this Saturday, Sept.8th at Floyd Lamb Park party space #5 from 11am-4pm. This "Fae Family Reunion" will be FREE to the public, but we ask that you consider donating a little something to the magic hat to help pay for the party space, if it's not too much trouble. If you do donate, e will give you a little bobble to trade in the circle. And speaking of trade circles! Please remember to bring your bobbles, doodads, and other assorted shiney things to trade in our very first Fae trade circle! Joining us for the day will be Going Green Girl who will help us learn more about recycling and how it helps our planet and we'll even have a eco-crafting area to make something fun out of recycled materials! Zann the fairy & Kelly Cheeks will be on hand for all your face painting fantasies(tips will be greatly appreciated!)! We are so excited to announce that THE Penelope Pendragon will be joining us to help teach us the correct way to WiSH properly! I just can't wait! Rounding out our day of fun will be the magical sounds of Didgeram: an acoustic group that play eclectic music with all sorts of strange & interesting instrument! We'll be setting up a gallery of fantasy art & we'll be having a coloring contest(art provided here on this blog & also on our Facebook page, so bring in your colored in drawing to enter to win a faerietastic prize! Don't forget to bring your bliss-ware (thats plates, cups & utensils for you Hu-mans!)since this is a very GREEN event! We don't want WASTE! All fae know to leave NO TRACE! But please feel free to bring yummies to eat & share with new fae friends! Bring a blanket to sit on under a tree. DON'T FORGET!!! Please come dressed to impress in your faery finest! Wings are encouraged :)

Autumn is no more- The fairies come in MAY!

After giving this much consideration, we have decided to push the Fairy Festival back to MAY 2011. This will give us more time to gather donations and be better prepared and will give you all a chance to work on your costumes. Please stay tuned! We will continue to update this page as we continue on our quest for a Fairy Festival and our Kickstarter page is still taking pledges.

Whats going on so far in the Fairy Realm

Whew! I must say traversing Gov't buildings is not a path that we Fair Folk should travel! Dealing with all that sticky red tape & cranky ogres- sheesh! Its enough to break a wee fae's heart & spirit. You pay a hefty price when dealing with the shadow people of the Borderlands & I must confess you come away with some scars too. You can help in the struggle to create a safe place in which we can play: Please make a pledge: http://kck.st/cmuAqc
